About us

Beechfields is owned and run by husband and wife, Cliff and Dorothy Saffrey, both qualified nurses.
Registered with Kent County Council and the Care Quality Commission. The home is set in the Kentish countryside surrounded by beautiful gardens and fields, providing care that is warm and friendly, with in a happy family atmosphere.
Beechfields was purpose built in 2001, before that Cliff and Dorothy had a residential home in Faversham for 15 years. All 8 rooms are ground level with en-suite shower, there is also a separate bathroom with hoist. The rooms are spacious and light, with far reaching views of the garden and fields and are available either furnished or unfurnished. There is also a large comfortable sitting room and a separate dining room.
There is an abundance of wildlife, sheep in the field along with Chico the horse and chickens providing us with fresh eggs daily.
We have regular outings and activities and visitors are welcome at any time. Doctors and Hospital appointments are catered for.
Teynham village is situated between Faversham and Sittingbourne with close access to the M2 motorway. Amenities include Hairdressers, Library, Village Stores and good country pubs. The train station is a short walk from Beechfields and there are regular passing basses. St Mary’s is a beautiful 13th Century Church and is only a 5 minute walk.
Working alongside Cliff and Dorothy is a small team of experienced and dedicated staff putting the residents individual care needs at the heart of everything they do.
It is difficult to describe all that we have to offer. The home is unique and special, if you have any questions or would like to come and visit please give us a call or email.
