Beechfields was built in 2001, before that Cliff and Dorothy had a residential home in Faversham for fifteen years. Cliff and Dorothy designed Beechfields themselves using their knowledge in caring for the elderly to make their home the perfect setting.
The home is all on ground level comprising of eight individual en-suite rooms, beautifully decorated with the option of furnished or unfurnished. All the rooms are spacious and light, with beautiful views of the gardens and countryside. There is a large comfortable communal lounge and dining room.
The large gardens comprise of lawn area with landscaped flowerbeds, trees and shrubs looking out over fields and orchards, we even have our own wood. There is a pathway around the garden, which enables access for all residents. There is an abundance of wildlife including birds, Chico the horse, two donkeys, sheep, Trevor the tortoise, and our chickens who provide us with fresh eggs everyday.
Teynham is a small village situated between Faversham and Sittingbourne. Amenities include several lovely pubs and restaurants, library, a village shop, hairdressers and beauticians and several lovely independent shops. The train station is a short walk from Beechfields, and there are regular passing buses. The beautiful 13th Century church is only a five-minute stroll from our front door.
Working alongside Cliff and Dorothy is a small team of highly experienced dedicated staff. All with the same family care values, putting the residents’ individual care needs at the heart of everything they do. The smallness and uniqueness of the home enables us to focus on the residents’ individual care needs.
